Model: SZO-YYFK-20
Product Description
In battery materials R&D, sealing is the last step before electrochemical testing. The researcher has already synthesized the material and prepared the electrodes. The sealer closes the coin cell and makes it testable.
The machine applies crimping pressure. The pressure is adjustable and measurable. This removes one variable from the experiment. Without standardized crimping, performance data may reflect assembly quality instead of material properties.
The sealer fits inside a glovebox. This is required for moisture-sensitive components. Examples include sodium anodes, lithium metal anodes, and certain electrolytes. If these materials are exposed to air, the cell fails before any meaningful test begins.
Standardized crimping produces consistent seals across multiple batches. No crushed gaskets. No variation from operator to operator.
