Large and Small Antechambers

The SZO-2440 is equipped with both large and small antechambers to support controlled transfer of materials into and out of the glove box.

Large Antechamber

The large antechamber has a diameter of 360 mm and a length of 600 mm. It is constructed from 304 stainless steel and includes a stainless steel sliding tray, double-door structure and analog pressure gauge. Vacuum evacuation and gas replenishment are automatically controlled through the PLC system.

Small Antechamber

The small antechamber has a diameter of 150 mm and a length of 300 mm, with approximately 100 mm extending into the glove box. It uses a 304 stainless steel chamber with a manually operated double-door structure and analog pressure gauge.

The two antechamber configurations provide flexibility for transferring different sizes of materials and equipment while helping minimize disruption to the controlled atmosphere.

Gas Purification & Circulation System

The gas purification system continuously circulates the working atmosphere through the purification column to remove oxygen and moisture from the glove box environment.

The system uses a 304 stainless steel purification vessel containing 5 kg of copper catalyst and 5 kg of molecular sieve. Under specified standard operating conditions, the system is designed to maintain oxygen and moisture levels below 1 ppm.

The circulation system supports nitrogen or argon as the working gas and provides an integrated fan flow rate of 90 m³/h. Regeneration is automatically controlled by the PLC using a mixture of the working gas and hydrogen, with a hydrogen concentration of 5–10%.

An integrated 12 m³/h rotary vane vacuum pump is used for antechamber evacuation and pressure management. The pump is equipped with an oil mist filter and vibration control.

Automatic Control & Monitoring

The SZO-2440 uses a PLC-based control system to monitor and manage the glove box operating environment.

Key control functions include:

● Automatic vacuum evacuation and gas replenishment of the large antechamber

● Automatic atmosphere cleaning and gas replacement

● Adjustable chamber pressure control within ±10 mbar
