Service Overview
An ultrasonic battery tab welding machine uses high-frequency ultrasonic vibration to join battery tabs with current collectors through a solid-state welding process. The welding process is performed at low temperatures without melting the base materials or using additional filler materials.
The machine is mainly used in lithium battery cell assembly, especially for power battery manufacturing. Stable tab welding quality helps maintain reliable electrical connections and reduce contact resistance during battery operation.
The ultrasonic welding process includes electrical energy conversion, ultrasonic vibration generation, amplitude control, energy transmission, and solid-state bonding.
Working Principle of Battery Tab Welder
The battery tab welder joins electrode tabs and battery terminals through a controlled welding process. Welding parameters such as current, pressure and welding time can be adjusted according to different battery designs.

3. Consumable Parts and Service Life:
The horns are wear parts, a 3-month warranty will be given for the upper horn.
The foot switch has a service life of 1.5 million cycles.
The electrical relay has a service life of 1.5 million cycles.
4. Safety Precautions:
Only the equipment that meet the factory inspection standards will be delivered.
Precautions for use:
1) Once the welding effect showing inconsistent, please stop operating the machine, or otherwise the user should assume the loss or damage himself;
2) The horns are quick-wear parts, please check the abrasion of the horn working surface on them regularly and replace the ones that are heavily worn in time.
5. Technical Requirements:
The maximum output power of NP1000 welder is 1000VA, the ultrasonic frequency is 20 KHZ±10%; the following pictures of Ⅱ,Ⅲ and Ⅳ are respectively the appearance of the complete machine, the upper horn and the bottom horn or anvil:

Welding Technique 1:The welding effect of 1 layer of 0.1mm thickness of Al strap with 10-20 layers of 0.012mm Al foils, the joint area is 5*20mm, the both sides of the horn can be used.

6. Equipment Erection and Personnel Training:
Equipment Erection:
The seller will inform constructors the details about equipment erection and the requisite components and tools.
The seller will support erection on the spot.
Personnel training:
During the erection period, the staff of the Seller will train the operator on the spot, the training content include normal operation, maintenance and emergency treatment, and so on:

7. After sale service:
The Seller will offer 1-year warranty from the date the Buyer received the equipment except the quick-wear parts like the horns, the foot pedal and the electrical relay. Excluding those quick-wear parts, for other failure components, the Seller will be responsible for the replacement freely in the event of non-human factors.
Once the warranty expired, the buyer need to pay for the repair and maintenance service provided by the Seller.
