Service Overview

I've been working with battery labs for years, and one of the most common headaches I hear about is slurry mixing that just won't stay consistent. That's exactly what this mixer is built to solve.

It uses planetary stirring and high-speed dispersion to blend thick slurries evenly, so you won't find hard clumps stuck to the barrel later. The jacketed tank keeps temperatures steady through every run, no mid-run shifts that ruin your recipe. Vacuum operation pulls out those tiny hidden bubbles that cause coating defects, while the smooth interior cleans up quickly between different materials.

Safety locks are simple, no overcomplicated menus to learn. It's not flashy, just built to work reliably, so you can focus on your tests instead of troubleshooting equipment.

1-1 Machine name, specifications and model

1-2 Basic Structure

1. Cantilever beam cross arm type;

2. Direct temperature measurement mode on barrel wall;

3. Two three-dimensional spiral stirring impellers,

4. One high-speed dispersion shaft and two dispersion discs

5. The machine support is made of Q235A carbon steel;

1-3 Lower barrel (mixing barrel)

1. Barrel specifications: Ф300mmX200mm ; Design volume: 14L ; Effective working volume: 10L ;

2. Inner wall material: SUS304L ;

3. The inner wall is mirror polished after precision lathe turning, polishing degree: 80girt ;

4. The flange plane on the mixing barrel and the upper barrel body are sealed by a sealing ring to ensure the vacuum degree of the machine;

5. Each machine is equipped with a material barrel, which is designed as a double-layer barrel and can be connected to circulating water for heating and cooling; the barrel can be loose and can be replaced for multiple operations;

6. The barrel is equipped with two stainless steel handles;

7. Two G3/8 quick-open water inlet and outlet ports, one G1/2 outlet.

1-4 Upper barrel

1. The barrel is made of SUS304L stainless steel;

2. The upper barrel has two Φ80mm mirror ports and 10mm thick tempered glass; Material: SUS304L;

Use the sight glass to observe the stirring condition;

3. One DN80 quick-open powder feeding port, material: SUS304L;

4. A DN8 three-piece ball valve vacuum pipe interface;

5. The front of the upper barrel is equipped with a vacuum display gauge to show the vacuum inside the barrel;

1-5 Mixing system

1. The two three-dimensional spiral stirring paddles rotate and the planetary box revolves, driving the stirring paddles to revolve at the same time, forming the motion trajectory of the double planets;

2. The gap between the stirring paddles is between 3mm-6mm , and the gap between the stirring paddle and the barrel wall is 2mm-4mm . The extremely small gap allows the two stirring paddles to be constantly kneaded, and with the planetary motion, there is no dead angle in the stirring process, and the materials are fully mixed;

3. Planetary revolution speed: 0 ~ 50 rpm , stepless speed change;

4. Stirring paddle speed: 0 ~ 100rpm , stepless speed change;

1-6 Motor, reducer

1. Motor power: 2.2 Kw/4 poles ; variable frequency motor, protection grade IP54

2. Equipped with cycloid pinwheel reducer, reduction ratio is about I= 24 , use factor fa= 2.1

1-7 stirring paddle

1.Material: SUS304L ;

2. The propeller is made of SUS304L stainless steel and is cast by precision mold;

3. The propeller surface is mirror polished, polishing degree: 80 grit ;

4. Bearings: FAG, Germany;

1-8 Dispersed System

One high-speed dispersion shaft, the dispersion shaft material is SUS 321

Dispersion disc diameter 60mm Material SUS 304

Dispersing disc speed 0-6200 rpm variable frequency speed regulation.

Distributed motor power 2.2Kw -2 variable frequency speed regulating motor.

1-9 lifting system

1. Screw lifting,

2. Worm gear reducer, power : 0.37

3. Lifting stroke: 380mm ;

1-10 Vacuum system

1. Equipped with a vacuum liquid buffer tank and a ball valve switch; the bottom of the buffer tank is provided with a drain port, and the buffer tank and the vacuum pump are connected with a metal hose;

2. Dynamic seal: mechanical seal ( GB-103 type ) is adopted; static seal: FPM material "O" ring is adopted in high temperature parts , and NBR material "O" ring is adopted in low temperature parts;

3. The equipment can be operated under vacuum during the stirring and mixing process, and the vacuum degree is ≤-0.098Mpa ;

4. The upper barrel is equipped with a vacuum pressure display gauge. The vacuum pipe interface is a G3/8 ball valve, and a vacuum buffer device is installed on the column.

1-11 Electrical control system

1-12 Temperature measurement method

1. A metal thermocouple

2. The temperature range of the material is 0-200 degrees;

3. The temperature sensor is located at the bottom of the barrel, directly in contact with the material, the temperature is more accurate, and the temperature measurement error is ± 1 degree;

1-13 Appearance requirements

1. Comply with JBIT7669-2004 plastic mixing standard.

2. The paint should be even, smooth, consistent in color and glossy; the paint surface should be transparent, non-sticky, strong in adhesion, and elastic, without wrinkles, peeling, paint leakage, flow marks, bubbles, etc. It should also comply with the technical conditions of HG/T3228-2001.

1-14 Safety System

1. Relying on the frequency converter and limit travel switch, through a specially designed control route, the barrel is ensured to stop automatically after it reaches the specified position;

2. During the rising process of the barrel, the mixing/dispersing part of the equipment cannot be started; similarly, when the machine is running the mixture, the barrel cannot be lowered and the mixing barrel cannot be opened;
